The Turntable Miniature Pack is a tasting set featuring the three core blends Paradise Funk, Bittersweet Symphony and Smokin’ Riff. Each Blended Scotch comes in a flexible 0.05-litre pouch rather than a miniature bottle; together, the set contains 0.15 litres.

Paradise Funk offers a bright, tropically sweet accent with caramelised pineapple, vanilla and toffee. Bittersweet Symphony shifts the focus towards robust malt, dark chocolate and dried fruit. Smokin’ Riff provides the smoky counterpoint with bonfire smoke, toffee, pear, raisin and cinnamon.

At 46% each, the three blends can be compared directly: Paradise Funk is tropically sweet, Bittersweet Symphony bittersweet and malty, and Smokin’ Riff smoky and spicy. The pack thus captures the range of Turntable’s core collection in a compact tasting format. All three whiskies are non-chill-filtered and contain no added colouring.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Paradise Funk opens with baked apricot, honey, orange zest, vanilla and hazelnut. Bittersweet Symphony offers aromas of English Christmas cake, dried fruit, nuts and spices. Smokin’ Riff combines poached pear, toasted lemon peel and cinnamon bun with the smoke of a beach bonfire.
• Palate: Paradise Funk follows with caramelised brown sugar, grilled pineapple, cinnamon, Scotch tablet and milk chocolate. Bittersweet Symphony is sweet, with dark sherry notes and nuts. Smokin’ Riff brings together toffee, vanilla, spicy currant chutney, oily orange peel and smoky cinnamon.
• Finish: Paradise Funk ends on a sweet and spicy note with tropical fruit and nutmeg. Bittersweet Symphony has a medium-length finish of dark sherry and damp hay. Smokin’ Riff finishes smoky, slightly salty and richly sweet.

Turntable Blending House creates and bottles the three Blended Scotches in this tasting pack. The company was founded by two brothers with more than twenty years of combined industry experience and works with small blending batches, carefully selected spirits and casks. Its vinyl-inspired concept connects the product names and packaging with the trio’s deliberately contrasting composition.
