For Blue Collection Batch 1, The Uncharted Whisky Co. married whisky from three selected ex-bourbon casks from Aultmore Distillery. The spirit was distilled on 6 March 2017 and matured for eight years. In 2025, the single malt was bottled at 46%, with an outturn of 640 bottles.

These three casks were chosen for their bright aromatics, fruit-forward character and sweet finish. For this release, Uncharted's minimal-intervention approach means no additional maturation, no added colour and no chill filtration.

The profile is bright and fruit-forward: pear sweets, pineapple and lemon soda lead to freshly baked lemon cake and floral notes. Oak, gentle vanilla and barley malt give the whisky additional structure.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose reveals delicate, fragrant notes of pear sweets, pineapple and lemon soda.
• Palate: The whisky is very smooth and warming on the palate. Freshly baked lemon cake combines with floral notes and oak.
• Finish: The finish leaves gentle estery notes, pear and oak alongside mild vanilla and barley malt.

Distillery/Bottler:

Aultmore Distillery began operating in 1897. The Speyside distillery was founded by Alexander Edward, a local entrepreneur and supporter of the region. It produced the single malt selected by Uncharted for this release.

The Uncharted Whisky Co. is an independent bottler based in Fintry, Scotland, and is run by founders Jack Breslin and Dana de Vos. They personally select spirits and casks, work by hand in very small batches and follow no fixed bottling schedule. The company launched the Blue Collection as its new core range with Batch 1, marrying whisky from the three selected Aultmore casks for the release.
