Special Features:

Lot 96 combines its Grande Champagne origins with 27 years of maturation in Limousin oak. The cellar master selected this cognac for its aromatic finesse and balance. It matured in French oak cask number 218 and was released in 2023 as a single-cask bottling of 614 bottles.

Bottled as Brut de Fût, it retains its undiluted strength of 49.7%. It is non-chill-filtered and contains no added colouring. The bottle holds 0.7 litres and comes in gift packaging.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The delicate nose brings together almonds, linden blossom and sour cherries, alongside soft, sweet aromas of pears and peaches.
• Palate: The palate reveals lush citrus fruit accompanied by lightly spicy notes.
• Finish: The finish is smooth and creamy, recalling English custard.

Distillery/Bottler:

Vallein Tercinier is based at the Domaine des Forges in Chermignac. Louis Vallein bought the estate in 1791; Georges Vallein established the trading house in 1850 and began selling bottled cognac. He combined his work as an estate owner and distiller with the wine and spirits trade.

The distillery later supplied more than its own house: in the decades following the Second World War, its eight stills also produced spirits for numerous trading houses. Vallein Tercinier continues to carry out every production stage from distillation to bottling in Chermignac.
