For Liqueur Amande, Vallein Tercinier combines Cognac with almond flavouring. The recipe also includes ethyl alcohol and syrup. The liqueur is bottled at 24% alcohol in bottles containing 0.5 litres.

Its sweet, nutty character lends itself both to drinking neat and to mixing. It can be served chilled or over ice, or used as an ingredient in cocktails and cooking.

• Nose: Sweet almonds lead on the nose, accompanied by a hint of vanilla.
• Palate: The palate opens smoothly and develops into a balanced close with sweet and nutty notes.

Distillery/Bottler:

The history of Vallein Tercinier is closely linked to Domaine des Forges in Chermignac. Louis Vallein acquired the estate in 1791; Georges Vallein founded the trading house in 1850 and began selling bottled Cognac. As an estate owner, distiller and merchant, he laid the foundations of the family business. Over six generations, its cellar masters continued to develop their art of blending. The distillery later supplied spirits not only to its own house but also to other Cognac merchants.
