Vallein Tercinier Vieux Pineau de Charentes Rouge

Special features: This Vieux Pineau de Charentes Rouge from Vallein Tercinier ages for at least 10 years in French oak barrels and presents itself in a deep ruby red. It is made from freshly pressed red Colombard grape must and high-quality Cognac from the Charente region. The long aging process gives it depth, smoothness, and a complex aroma.

Tasting Notes:

  • Nose: A bouquet of black cherries, plums, and dried plums, accompanied by delicate almond notes. Underbrush and a fine chocolate note complement the profile.
  • Palate: Dense and harmonious with flavors of cherry, plum, and mocha, along with almond and subtle cocoa notes.
  • Finish: Fruity-soft, long-lasting with notes of red fruits, fine bitter almond, and an elegant finish with underbrush tones.

Distillery/Bottler: The Maison Vallein Tercinier, founded in 1850, is a traditional family business from Chermignac in the Cognac region. With over six generations of experience in producing Cognac and Pineau des Charentes, the house places great value on artisanal methods and long barrel aging to achieve complex and harmonious flavors.
