Special features: This Irish single malt whisky comes exclusively from the Tinnashrule farm and has been specially bottled for the German market. The barley thrives in the hilly lowland fields of John Crowley, protected by ash and larch forests, and benefits from well-draining, clay-rich loam soils. The whisky matured in a combination of first-fill barrels made from American oak, new American oak barrels, barrels made from French premium oak, and Vin Doux Naturel barrels. It was bottled at a robust 50% alcohol by volume, without chill filtration and without colorants.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Aromatic sweetness of honeycomb, accompanied by plums, orange zest, and rose water. Underpinned with barley flakes, a hint of mint and anise, as well as dark chocolate.
• Palate: Intense spices of cloves and white pepper, unfolding into flavors of grapefruit and fresh spice.
• Finish: Long-lasting, oily, and spicy.

Distillery/Bottler: The Waterford Distillery, founded in 2014 by Mark Reynier, is dedicated to the philosophy of terroir. It collaborates with over 70 farms to explore the diversity of Irish barley and its influence on whisky flavor.
