Special features: The West Cork Maritime 5 y.o. is an Irish single malt whiskey that has matured for five years in first-fill bourbon casks and is then refined in former Calvados casks. This special finishing method complements the aromas with fruity notes of apples and pears. With an alcohol content of 43%, this whiskey is not smoky. It is bottled without additives and comes in a 700 ml bottle, produced by West Cork Distillers.

Distillery/Bottler: West Cork Distillers is an independent craft distillery in Ireland, founded in 2003 by three childhood friends. In addition to whiskey, the distillery also produces gin and vodka and uses Irish malt and spring water. The production process includes triple distillation and is completed by aging in former Calvados casks that were previously used for apple brandy.
