Special features: The Willowburn Ember Batch 004 is a powerful reissue of the popular single malt from the Harz region. This whisky is characterized by the use of barley malt smoked over wood, giving it a distinctive smoky note. The maturation took place in a careful combination of first fill sherry, port, marsala, and Málaga casks, which impart a complex array of flavors to the whisky. It was bottled at an alcohol content of 46% vol., deliberately avoiding coloring and chill filtration to preserve the natural flavors.
