This rum was distilled from the juice of Ecuadorian sugarcane and aged for seven years in virgin oak barrels. It was bottled at cask strength of 49% vol., without color additives and without chill filtration, to preserve the original, lush profile of the rum. The name "Yaku Wari" means "untamed water" in the indigenous Quechua language and reflects the wild nature of the rum.
