Vallein Tercinier XO Cigar Blend - 50th Anniversary Kirsch Import

Volume: 0.7 litres | Alcohol content: 46% | Colouring: No

Special Features:

Long-matured Cognacs form the foundation of this XO Old Cigar Blend. Vallein Tercinier created it to accompany a cigar and bottled it exclusively for Kirsch Import’s 50th anniversary. Mature depth combined with lively freshness defines this special edition.

Ripe tropical fruit and juicy stone fruit meet roasted nuts, caramelised almonds and chocolate sweetness. Despite its aromatic richness, it retains a fresh character, with a full, creamy mouthfeel. The Cognac is bottled at 46% without colouring in 0.7-litre bottles.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: On the nose, ripe tropical fruit and juicy stone fruit mingle with caramelised almonds. Subtle spice notes and a hint of dark chocolate complete the aromas.
• Palate: Chocolate and roasted, caramelised almonds take centre stage on the palate. The Cognac is full-bodied and creamy, with a silky texture.
• Finish: The long finish combines fruity impressions with lingering nutty sweetness.

Distillery/Bottler:

Vallein Tercinier is based at the Domaine des Forges in Chermignac. Louis Vallein brought the estate into family ownership in 1791. Around 1850, Georges Vallein established a trading house there; as an estate owner and distiller, he laid the foundations of today’s Cognac house.

His son Paul developed his own blends and sold Cognac in bottles. Later, his nephew Louis Tercinier continued this work and expanded the European business. Knowledge of selecting and blending eaux-de-vie passed down through five generations of the family. In the 1990s, Louis Tercinier, Robert’s son, took over production, while his sister Catherine managed the commercial side.
