Nose: A seductive bouquet of gingerbread, cashews, and licorice, accompanied by spicy notes of cloves and oak leaves, as well as a hint of old leather reminiscent of antique furniture.
Palate: The taste unfolds intense flavors of licorice sticks, tobacco, and cigar box, enveloped by the sweetness of ripe quinces. Woody aromas of sandalwood and cedar add depth and complexity.
Finish: A powerful and complex finish with lingering, subtle wood tannins and a fine rancio that underscores the exceptional quality of this Cognac.
Distillery/Bottler: The Maison Bache-Gabrielsen was founded in 1905 by Norwegian lieutenant Thomas Bache-Gabrielsen. Since then, the company has been run by the Bache-Gabrielsen family in the fourth generation and is known for producing high-quality Cognacs that combine tradition and innovation.
