Special features: This limited Cognac masterfully combines eaux-de-vie from various crus of the Charente, including Grande Champagne, Fins Bois, and Bons Bois. The blend consists of 15% Grande Champagne, 50% Fins Bois, and 35% Bons Bois, with the oldest components dating back to the 1950s. It was bottled on March 3, 2025, in a limited edition of 255 bottles.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: A delicate bouquet of floral notes, accompanied by gentle honey and a hint of dried apricots. Over time, aromas of roasted almonds, leather, and subtle oak unfold, reflecting the long barrel aging.
- Palate: Full-bodied and expressive, the Cognac presents a harmonious balance between the freshness of the Borderies, the roundness of the Fins Bois, and the length of the Grande Champagne. Flavors of compote, baking spices, and a touch of orange peel enrich the tasting experience.
- Finish: Long and elegant, with fine tannins and a gentle warmth that rounds off the enjoyment.
