Special features: The Stauning Smoked R.Y.E. Sherry Oak is an innovative rye whisky from the Danish Stauning Distillery, presented for the first time in the Studio Edition. Made from locally floor-malted rye and barley, it is gently smoked with Danish peat and heather. After aging in new American oak barrels, it receives a finishing touch in Moscatel sherry casks, resulting in a limited edition of 2,500 bottles.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Aromas of vanilla, toasted rye bread, beeswax, orange peel, citrus fruits, cherry, black tea, wild herbs, cinnamon, golden tobacco, dried fruits, toasted oak, and leather.
• Palate: Full-bodied with a balanced combination of sweet and spicy notes, supported by the smoky aromas of Danish peat and heather.
• Finish: Long-lasting with a mild yet present smokiness that highlights the complexity of the whisky.

Distillery/Bottler: The Stauning Distillery, founded in 2005 by nine friends in West Jutland, Denmark, is known for its artisanal production and the use of local ingredients. Every production step, from malting to bottling, takes place on-site, resulting in authentic and characterful whiskies.
