Special features: The Smugglers Trail Peated Oloroso Sherry Cask is a special release from the Dutch Zuidam Distillers. This Single Blended Whisky combines the craftsmanship of the distillery by blending various whisky styles distilled in their own pot stills: peated single malt, wheat whisky made from wheat and malted barley, as well as grain whisky from a mix of rye, corn, wheat, spelt, and malted barley. All components matured exclusively in old Oloroso sherry casks, giving the whisky its characteristic dark color and complex aromas.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Inviting aromas of dried fruits, accompanied by a subtle smokiness and a hint of oak.
• Palate: Full-bodied and balanced, with a harmonious combination of sweet sherry notes, a light smokiness, and a pleasant oak spice.
• Finish: Long and warming, with the aromas of dried fruits and oak gently fading away.
