Special features: This 11-year-old rum from Fiji was distilled in the country's renowned distillery and is reminiscent of classic Caribbean styles, particularly Jamaican and Barbadian rums. After distillation in the column still, the rum initially aged for one year in bourbon barrels on the island before maturing for another ten years in refill bourbon barrels in the United Kingdom. It was bottled in 2025 in a limited edition of 400 bottles.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Lightly roasted bananas and rye bread, accompanied by delicate citrus notes like lemon and orange peels, as well as a hint of honey and vanilla.
- Palate: Warmth from ripe oranges, a pinch of pepper, and honey on buttery bread, complemented by rich vanilla cream.
- Finish: A lingering echo of spices and orange blossom honey.
