Special Features: The Alfonso Oloroso Sherry from González Byass is an outstanding example of the art of Sherry production. This dry Oloroso ages for eight years in American oak barrels, developing impressive depth and complexity. Through oxidative aging without flor yeast, it acquires its characteristic dark mahogany color and a rich spectrum of aromas.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Intense bouquet with notes of fresh hazelnuts, walnuts, and almonds, accompanied by warm roasted notes of oak and earthy hints of truffle and leather.
- Palate: Dry and intensely aromatic, the Sherry presents itself full-bodied with flavors of nuts, toast, spicy wood, and a hint of vanilla.
