Los Siete Misterios Mezcal Doba Yej

Special features: The Los Siete Misterios Mezcal Doba Yej is made from the Agave Angustifolia Haw, better known as Espadín. The agave hearts are cooked in traditional earthen ovens with local wood and river stones, giving the mezcal its characteristic depth. After fermentation, double distillation takes place in copper pot stills, with the first distillation occurring in Santiago Matatlán and the second in San Dionisio. The name "Doba Yej" means "Espadín" in the ancient Zapotec language, thus honoring the roots of this mezcal. Each bottle features the portrait of a Mexican national hero, emphasizing the cultural connection of the product.
