Los Siete Misterios Mezcal Doba Yej
Special features: The Los Siete Misterios Mezcal Doba Yej is made from the Agave Angustifolia Haw, also known as Espadín. The agave hearts are cooked in traditional earthen ovens with local wood and river stones, giving the mezcal its characteristic smoky aroma. After fermentation, double distillation takes place in copper pot stills. This mezcal is enjoyable both neat and in cocktails.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Aromas of citrus fruits such as yellow lemon and grapefruit, accompanied by floral notes and a hint of caramelized agave.
- Palate: A balanced interplay of sweet agave, tropical fruits, and a subtle peppery spiciness.

Distillery/Bottler: Los Siete Misterios was founded in 2010 by brothers Julio and Eduardo Mestre. With the aim of preserving the mezcal tradition and supporting local producers, they work closely with experienced Maestros Mezcaleros. The agaves are harvested in various regions of Oaxaca and processed using traditional methods.
